Pathways Preschool

“Equipping young people to make a big difference in this community and beyond.”

Our Program

Art and Cultural Studies

Children explore a variety of art mediums from painting to sewing to sculpting as well as famous works of art from around the world. Every spring we hold an art show to showcase the incredible talent and creativity of our young artists.

Kindergarten Readiness

As well as reading and mathematics, a child’s social-emotional growth is a primary focus. We teach our students how to identify and communicate their feelings in ways that allow them to problem solve with their peers and self-regulate. These skills are the backbone of kindergarten readiness.

Differentiated Learning

Our themed units rotate monthly, encouraging play and exploration through language, science, and dramatic play. We offer small group and individual guidance so that children can experience success as well as challenging opportunities as they learn.

Our Philosophy

At Pathways Preschool children have opportunities every day to explore the world around them through art, music, and play. We are committed to providing children a safe space to learn how to appropriately express themselves and relate with others while they gain the skills they will need for academic success.

Each month we will begin a new unity which will be incorporated into the majority of our activities, from math and reading, to Bible stories, science, and art. This approach allows for ideas to be reinforced on many levels and shows children how the world around them is interconnected.

We are committed to helping your child grow academically, socially, and spiritually, using proven curriculum that meets Oregon state standards.

In alignment with the Oregon Trail School District, Pathways Preschool uses ability-appropriate phonics training provided by Heggerty.
